Are you ready to dedicate your services to help others through training and practice?

Are you willing to be part of a team that takes pride in our motto of "Dedicated to Saving Lives"?

Then we are looking for you. The Search and Rescue Team is a very strong willed and dedicated organization that works directly for the Sheriff. We are a completely volunteer, non-profit organization that requires help from people like you that are interested.

There are many things volunteers can do once becoming a Team Member including (but not limited to) the following examples of the many areas of expertise we conduct:

Ground search's for lost people using 'wilderness scent' dog teams, diving operations, rope rescue's (low angle, steep angle, vertical), swiftwater rescue technicians, etc.  Buisness related items like: board members, ways and means committee members, etc.

In order to join you must fill out this application which has fill in text capabilities and either mail it to the Sheriff's Department or come on by and drop it off at the front desk and give it to the Civil Clerk. Once your application is submitted, someone should get ahold of you fairly quick and give you further instructions.
